Chicken food truck Roost starts residency in Soho

Chicken food truck Roost starts residency in SohoPopular chicken street food truck Roost is heading indoors for a Soho residency. They'll be sheltering from the winter cold at the Sun & 13 Cantons, Great Pulteney Street from 4 February to Saturday 30 March 2013.

Roost is one of London's favourite food trucks, led by Cass Titcombe - one of the former founders of Canteen, and the truck predated London's current fascination with all things chicken.

The temporary restaurant will offer all the usual favourites from the truck - plenty of their great free-range British fried and grilled chicken - as part of a more comprehensive menu with daily blackboard specials. So there'll be chicken livers with rye toast and pickles (£5.50), chicken chorizo burger with aioli & chipotle ketchup (£8.50) as well as grilled chicken salad with roasted butternut squash, pickled shallot, watercress, chicory and pumpkin seed dressing (£8.50).

They'll be open for lunch Monday to Friday (12-3pm) and dinner Monday to Saturday (6-10pm) and takeaway will also be available if you call on 0207 734 0934.

Roost will be at the Sun & 13 Cantons from February 4 to March 30 at 21 Great Pulteney Street. Keep up to date at www.weareroost.com or follow Roost on Twitter @weareroost.
