The May bank holiday may actually be a really sunny one for once, so you need to do everything you can to make the most of it. Luckily we've rounded up the best food and drinks things going on in London for the long weekend.

40FT Brewery is celebrating its 10th birthday with a three-day bash.
2 May - At Da Terra in Bethnal Green, chef Rafael Cagali is teaming up with Chef Ivan Brehm from Michelin-starred Nouri in Singapore. They'll be cooking together at both lunch and dinner and as both chefs are from São Paulo, expect the food to be a celebration of Brazilian culture, heritage and spices. Tickets are £150.
2 May - Kraken Rum is serving free seafood ‘gelato’ in a cone from a tentacle-topped ice cream van. Choose from scoops of smoked mackerel pâté, spicy tuna and creamy taramasalata with your choice of fishy topping, be it King Prawns, octopus or caviar. Find it at Battersea Power Station from 11:30am, alongside chilled tasters of Kraken Black Spiced Rum.
2-4 May - East London Brewery 40ft is turning 10 years old and they'll be celebrating with a 3-day birthday bash over the bank holiday weekend. Enjoy £4 pints, a special brew Jameson whisky sour, an Irish band, DJ’s, Rock Oyster pop-up and a Dusty Knuckle pizza party, as well as the chance to get your hands on some limited edition merch.
4 May - Corrochio's in Stoke Newington is having its first birthday party with a Mexican-inspired barbecue serving up traditional Volcanes - crispy grilled tortillas with cheese and toppings along with Piñatas and a Mariachi band along with Margarita slushies, in partnership with Ocho tequila.
4-5 May - Mex Fest is a free two-day Mexican Fiesta taking place at Hackney Bridge featuring some of London’s best Mexican food traders, a Mex-Market filled with arts and crafts, live mariachi, Sonidero beats, dance performances, games, workshops and Piñatas.
5 May - Los Mochis is turning up the heat for Cinco de Mayo with both the Notting Hill and City locations serving £10 Palomas, Margaritas, Mezcalitas, and Tommy’s all day long - plus a one-day-only special: their much-loved Crispy Rice, with a tuna twist just for the day.
5 May - Ole & Steen is offering slices of its Summer Social (filled with vanilla custard and mixed berry compote, glazed with icing and and finished with a sprinkling of dried berries) all day on Bank Holiday Monday for just £3 (usually £4.65).
