Expect an array of interesting stalls at the JUNG Korean Festival
1-4 May (King's Cross) - JUNG Korean Festival is back for a four-day celebration spotlighting the depth and diversity of Korean cuisine. Enjoy cult street food names and lesser-seen regional dishes with traders including Chickenhaus, Hoho London (hotteok specialists), Hongdae Pocha, Bonbab, Onma and more.
2 May (Dalston) - Close Ties will be taking over Newcomer Wines for a bank holiday party/BBQ out on the terrace. Chef Oscar Gogan (Carousel, The Clove Club, Tuome) will be cooking, there'll be resident DJs playing throughout the night, and Close Tie founders Jake and Josh will be pouring wines from the cellar alongside Newcomer Wines' Harry East and Alice Bracaglia. David Gandy was an early visitor to the Peroni pop-up
2 May (Covent Garden) - Today is the last day of the Peroni pop-up in the Covent Garden piazza, serving up free beer and aperitivo. Runs 12pm to 8pm.
2 May (Covent Garden) - New cocktail bar Cato is hosting a late-night viewing party of The Kentucky Derby from 10pm - 1am. With just 20 tickets, everyone will be assigned a horse and the winner will get the evening on the house.
The Planque/Dumbo collab burger
3 May (Hackney) - Chef Seb Hunt from Planque will serve his own take on DUMBO’s cult Paris smashburger, available exclusively at Planque from 12pm as part of a special menu. It starts with oysters and hot sauce, followed by chicken nuggets au poivre, then a burger served with gribiche-style sauce (with frites) and, finally, a sundae. It's walk-ins only on the day and then the burger will be available at DUMBO Shoreditch from 4-17 May for a tenner.

3 May (Marylebone) - Aki London is launching its monthly ‘Meet the Maki maker’ sushi masterclass hosted by Head Sushi Chef Alexandru Ghetau. Guests will be guided through the principles and techniques behind creating maki, nigiri and hand rolls. For £80 you get a welcome drink, miso soup and green tea during the class and an Aki chopping board as a keepsake.
3-4 May (Hackney) - Returning to Hackney Bridge for a lively long weekend, Mexico Vivo Fest features workshops and tastings exploring Mexican food, drinks and traditions along with a Sunday daytime Sonidero-style DJ party and La Linea Festival closing party on Sunday night.
The promise of pies from GimmeSomeSugarPie
4 May (Bethnal Green) - Baker Emma Zucker is having an American pie sale out of her home in East London. Think coconut cream, brown sugar custard, pandan-mango cream, salted golden syrup, Mississippi mud. Pre-order for slices or whole pies and there'll be some extra bits available on the day.
