Gordon Ramsay is changing things up in Heathrow with Plane Food Market

Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food has been at Terminal 5 in Heathrow since the terminal opened back in 2008. Since then, it's remained popular even if the reviews have often been a little on the mixed side. But Gordon has decided now is the time to shake things up (surely helped by the fact that he's filming a Netflix series).

It has now been renamed Plane Food Market, and while that might make you think it's gone all grab-and-go (although there is a counter for that), that's not the case here. Instead, it's more about a fast-service operation, bringing together three of his brands under one roof. So there's a Lucky Cat, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Street Burger and Street Pizza. The idea being you can choose dishes as varied as his bonito fried duck leg bao to smash burgers.

They will also have a few dishes from the previous incarnation of Plane Food, specifically the full English and his "Idiot Sandwich". It's really a complete menu change (you can see it here) as opposed to a redesign of the space, but if you're in T5 in the near future, it might be worth a look.
