Just in time to the run up to the festive season, the City of London has a fine new bar that's just opened its doors. Langbourns, from the Metropolitan Pub Company, looks to furnish local workers with everything they need in the way of seafood and steaks.
The bar, which is part of the new 77 Gracechurch Street development and just around the corner from Leadenhall Market, features its own oyster bar serving up Colchester oysters, both hot and cold, alongside steaks cooked on the grill.
Other menu treats include:
- Salt beef scotch egg, kimchi aioli
- Saint Peter’s fish soup, ‘Nduja rouille
- Smoked salmon, scotch apple pancake, pickles
- Roast halibut, ox tail, girolles, chicory gratin, red wine sauce
- Braised beef cheek & seaweed suet pudding, crispy oyster, apple & bone marrow gravy
They opened their doors just over a week ago, so if you're looking for somewhere new and different to take your colleagues to this could be the place.
