Salt Bae's Knightsbridge restaurant made £7m in just three months

salt bae london restaurant profit

He has his fans and his detractors, but Salt Bae is laughing all the way to the bank it seems. According to accounts posted this week and reported by industry news folk Propel, the condiment sprinkling restaurateur made a whopping £7m from the first three months of trading.

That, if you'd like us to break it down for you, means his Knightsbridge restaurant was working on a turnover of over £500k a week. Even once you take his various overheads into account he made a pre-tax profit of £2,235,086 in three months. And the man himself wasn't even in London all the time.

So while gold-encrusted steaks might not be your thing, it seems that they're clearly very popular.
