It's been a hit in Spitalfields and now Marc Summers and chef Helen Graham's restaurant Bubala is getting ready to double up with a second restaurant, this time in Soho.
They pair have taken over the space that used to be Vasco & Piero (which has since reopened not too far away) and will offer the same vegetarian Middle Eastern-style cuisine as seen in Spitalfields. New dishes and classics will be on the menu, including:
- Halloumi with black seed honey
- Confit potato latkes with toum and Aleppo chilli
- Hispi cabbage with mandarin and ras el hanout ponzu
- Yemeni malawach with stracciatella, kalamata olives & smoked aubergine honey,
As for the look of the place, it'll seat 50 and, much like Spitalfields, that will include eight seated at the bar.
