It's been a hit in Spitalfields and now Marc Summers and chef Helen Graham's restaurant Bubala is getting ready to double up with a second restaurant, this time in Soho.
The pair have taken over the space that used to be Vasco & Piero (which has since reopened not too far away) and will offer the same vegetarian Middle Eastern-style cuisine as seen in Spitalfields. New dishes and classics will be on the menu, including:
- Baba Ganoush with Curry Leaf Oil and Pine Nut
- Confit potato latkes with toum and Aleppo chilli
- Skewers that include Oyster Mushroom with Tamari and Coriander Seeds
- Cauliflower, Bkeila, Velvet tomato with Yoghurt and Braised Hispi
- Baklava Semifreddo
As for the place itself, it'll seat 50 and, much like Spitalfields, that will include eight seated at the bar, this time with a view of the open kitchen.
