Portobello Schoolyard is Notting Hill's new Saturday food & drink market

Portobello Schoolyard is Notting Hill's new Saturday food & drink market

A new Saturday food market is coming to Notting Hill and it does sound very promising. It'll be taking over the grounds of Vicente Cañada Blanch Spanish School, hence the market's name - Portobello Schoolyard.

They already have a few impressive debuts lined up for the market. It'll be the first time you'll be able to buy Phil Howard's OTTO fresh pasta direct from a stall, and it will also provide a home for Kamienko's Bagels. That's ex-Leroy chef Sam Kamienko, who set up a very highly-rated bagel business during lockdown.

Alongside those, you'll be able to find seafood via dayboats from The Fish Stall, charcuterie and cheese from The French Comte, natural wine from Wingnut Wines, produce from Brambletye Fruit Farm and more. They'll also have a changing rota of street food traders on-site too.

So if you find yourself in Notting Hill one Saturday, this sounds like it'll be well worth a look.
