Summing it all up: 400 Rabbits have settled on Elephant and Castle as their latest pizzeria, bringing both their London sourdough pizzas and a brand new range on gelato made in-house.
Continuing a slow march across south London, following pizzerias in Crystal Palace, Nunhead, West Norwood and Brockwell Lido, 400 Rabbits are opening another pizzeria - this time in Elephant Park, the new Elephant & Castle development.
They'll be the first restaurant to open in the new Park Central East area (they're right next to the station), with seating both inside and out. The restaurant will be selling their London sourdough pizzas which include:
- The Chorizo One - San Marzano DOP tomato, fior di latte mozzarella, soft and semi-cured Brindisa Iberico chorizo, pickled red chillies & fresh basil
- The Clean One (vegan) - San Marzano DOP tomato, courgette, piquillo peppers, pine nuts & chimichurri
- The Rhubarb One - San Marzano DOP tomato, fior di latte mozzarella, chipotle rolled goats cheese, piquillo peppers, rhubarb & basil
They're promising seasonal specials and collaborations with other chefs and drinks will include negronis on tap which start at only £4. And, for this opening, they're also launching their own gelato made in-house, starting with roasted pistachio, rhubarberry sorbet (a rhubarb & strawberry mix) and vegan coconut.
