We've been fans of Philly cheesesteak masters Passyunk Avenue since they opened in Fitzrovia (and their delivery DIY kits are one of the best we've had) so the news that they've expanded to Waterloo is welcome indeed.
After doing a bit of crowdfunding, they've got their hands on a 3000ft space (much, much larger than the original) in the arches by Leake Street in Waterloo.
If you're unfamiliar with Passyunk Avenue - the restaurant is mainly all about their cheesesteaks - chopped up steak and onion, drenched in cheese sauce and served up in their own buns. That's served up alongside chicken parm, buffalo wings, Italian hoagies and tater tots.
This is their fourth site, following two openings in Stratford and they're billing this one as London's biggest American dive bar.
