Where you've been dining out in London's restaurants (Jul 16)

With London restaurants back up and running, much of what we're seeing on Instagram feed has moved from cooking at home to dining out. Each week, we'll be gathering together the best of our readers' dining-out Instagram posts. So be sure to tag them #eathotdinners and check to see if they made the cut here every Friday.

Padella

Either inside or on their brand new terrace seating, the Padella pici cacio e pepe is always welcome.

The Sea, The Sea

In Chelsea, Leo Carreira's The Sea, The Sea has returned with as strong a seafood menu as ever. Check out all the images below for an amazing lobster rice sando.

The Standard

It's just the ground floor Double Standard restaurant that's opened in this chic KX hotel - but that means Adam Rawson's amazing burgers are back and there's a large terrace to enjoy them on.

Leroy

A beautiful steamed brill from Shoreditch's Leroy is pronounced 'lush' plus they've a very tempting tomato and ricotta dish on too.

Circolo Poplare

The new ability to now book at Circolo Popolare means it might be a little easier to get into. Ordering a truffle pasta dish by mistake sounds like the happiest of accidents.

After over 100 days of lockdown, restaurants and pubs were allowed to open again this weekend, marking a very special 4th jul weekend for the brits. Wasnt planning to go join the crowd but it is hard to resist the fun circolo and its lovely carb load. This lovely plate of truffle pasta was ordered by mistake but turned out to be best dish we had. Might need to stay in for a while to avoid the crowd. #pasta #carboverload #carbfest #timeoutlondon #italianfood #italian #backtocivilization . . . . . . . #foodporndaily1 #foodporn #eaterlondon #eatthis #lickyourphone #londonfoodie #londonfoodieblogger #londonfoodporn #igfood #eathotdinners #londonhiddengems #softlaunch #foodies #foodbloggers #londonfoodbloggers #london #cheatdayeveryday #cheatdayeats #foodinstagram #pastalover #covid19 #lockdown2020 #weekends

Darby's

Instagrammer Felicity Spector's first post-lockdown meal was south of the river at Darby's - and this smoked aubergine ratatouille looks wonderful.

The most glorious Sunday lunch @darbyslondon - the smoked aubergine ratatouille was a thing of utter beauty and as delicious as it looked - plus the crispy potatoes, chargrilled artichokes with a pool of herb butter, the always impeccable sourdough and wild mushroom arancini... and for dessert, @pumpstreetchocolate mousse with tonka gelato and salted caramel truffles, plus a honey rosemary gelato with cherries and a St Jude cheesecake filled choux bun with strawberries. Utterly brilliant cooking by @robin.gill.cook @deanoparker and team, utterly brilliant service by @underwood_emma @wesicles88 and team and utterly lovely company with @emmahitsthespot @the.geographer and @pastabites. How I’ve missed this, sitting outside at a table with friends and catching up over wonderful food, I know I am incredibly lucky to have this kind of thing in my life, it means more than I can say, and I hope against hope that we are all going to pull through this time, more careful than carefree, always responsible and respectful, ever grateful for moments like this. Thank you to everyone at Darby’s - it was such a pleasure to see you all again - my heart is filled with the friendship and the sense of joy I’ve been missing for so long. London is opening again - please help keep London safe. 🧡🌟🍆🌿🍅🥖🍯🍧🍪✨😊 . . . . . . . . . . . . #darbys #sundaylunch #ratatouille #potatoesarelife #sourdough #artichoke #arancini #veggiefood #gelato #pumpstreetchocolate #chocolatemousse #tonka #allthedesserts #londonrestaurants #vauxhall #robingill #deliciousfood #lunchwithfriends #grateful #eathotdinners #socialdistancing #staysafe

Gunpowder

They created a curry version of their lamb chops for their delivery menu - but it's so good to be able to go to their restaurant for the real thing.
