Eat and cook with other Londoners at The Deli Cat - a virtual supper club

Deli Cat virtual supper club

Online wine tastings, where you try wine (sent to you in advance) from the comfort of your own homes, have been around for years. But the current Lockdown has encouraged food and restaurant folk to try something similar.

The Initiative are a hospitality group behind various openings in London's burgeoning food market scene. Now they're running a weekly event where chefs and folk stuck at home can still eat together.

The Deli Cat supper club has signed up a series of guest chefs. They'll share tips and tricks from in the restaurant trade while showing you how to cook the ingredients you've been sent in your supper club food delivery.

You cook the food, and then sit down to eat it with your fellow supper club guests, paired with wine chosen by The Initiative.

Each supperclub will have just 15 spaces, so it won't be too unwieldy online. The first kicks off tonight, with The Dairy chef Robin Gill leading things.
