ramoramen2

What: Ramo Ramen

In a nutshell: Kentish Town gets a new ramen spot

Need to know: The team behind longstanding Kentish Town restaurant Bintang have moved into the world of ramen, opening this halal ramen joint on Kentish Town Road.

The low-down

This new Kentish Town halal ramen joint is from the guys behind nearby Bintang.

The menu kicks off with a range of starters like chicken karaage, scotch bonnet chicken wings, gyoza and more.

For the ramen, which ranges in price from £12 to £15, there are four varieties:

  • Chicken sopas
  • Oxtail kare kare
  • Miso and walnut
  • Spicy tempura shrimp

They're also serving up plenty of bubble tea and - for dessert - they're promising a signature dessert of mango peach pie.
