Another huge food market is coming to town - this time, it's the turn of Time Out Market, which seems to be in the process of taking over the globe, following success in Lisbon (with New York and Miami planned). They're taking over a spot in Commercial Street that's essentially just across the road from Spitalfields Market. 

And it's a big old place too - 19,250 sq ft, 450 seats, 17 restaurants and a Cooking

We’ve seen some truly excellent restaurants open in railway arches over the last few years so we’re really pleased to see that Deptford is the latest area to utilise the space below the tracks for a new food, drink and retail project.

Deptford Market Yard is set to be one of the most ambitious of these initiatives to date. The project will house 14 arches of food, drink and retail within the renovated historic railway arches next to Deptford station.

North Londoners are getting a new weekend market and the launch line-up of traders is pretty darned impressive. The Primrose Hill Market will run every Saturday in the grounds of St Paul’s School on Primrose Hill Road. There's yet another reason to head down Bermondsey way this week as a pretty impressive-sounding market is kicking off this weekend. Druid Street Market starts on July 4 and will be a fixture every Saturday from then on. It's the brainchild of Miranda York, also behind the lovely looking Toast magazine, and is being designed to complement both Borough and Maltby - each of which are only a short walk away (Maltby is
