In a nutshell: Chris Boustead teams up with Tim Bidois to bring classic British fare to Highbury Corner.

Summing it all up: Former Opera Tavern chef will bring his considerable experience to a new collaboration with Tim Bidois, a chef from New Zealand. The pop-up will see dishes like potted rabbit and pig, or rolled spring lamb appearing in Islington’s Nanna's.

Those who like their meal with a serious view may rejoice, for London in the Sky is back once more, in July next year.

Summing it all up: The two street food vendors are teaming up for a three-month residency at Dirty Harry’s Soho on Wardour Street, where there’ll be toppings like pancetta bacon, crispy chicken skin and tarragon mayo.

Devon’s River Cottage returns to The Imperial for a second time, bringing with it a hefty yet affordable tasting menu lead by Steven Lamb.

If you’re kicking yourself for missing last year’s River Cottage residency at the Imperial, then good news. You’ll have a second chance for two nights this February when the Devonshire restaurant visits for a second time. It’ll also be stopping off in Surrey

Since originally writing this piece, we've had a chance to try out the Blacktail pop-up firsthand at the launch. We were wondering if it could really match our high expectations, based on our immediate love of the New York original. And we're very pleased to report that those expectations were easily matched.

Summing it all up: Kheera Kitchen and Crisis are teaming up at the charity’s cafe on Commercial Street, where they’ll be serving up light Indian cuisine and helping vulnerable people at the same time.

In a nutshell: Borough Market opens a pop-up, which will only use produce and chefs from the Market.

Summing it all up: For two months, Borough Plates will be popping up in the Market. There’ll be chefs from the Market on rotation, who’ll be cooking with produce exclusively sourced from the Market’s

The Dan Barber pop-up, wastED London on the roof at Selfridges, is going to be one of the food highlights of the year in London, but don't just take our word for it. We caught up with the chef himself. 

He was on a trip to London and we found him in the test kitchen at Selfridges, working on recipes with his second in command at Blue Hill's, Culinary Director Adam Kaye, and London-based co-chefs Ian Scaramuzza and Jonny Bone. Scaramuzza was previously Head Chef

Another New York restaurant is making the trip to London as New York's Extra Fancy is popping up in the Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch for three nights only. So this is a BIG story - and a huge coup for Selfridges. Top American chef Dan Barber - he of Blue Hill at Stone Barns fame - is bringing his food waste pop-up, wastED, to London this Spring.
