Jose Pizarro opening Little Jose in Canary Wharf at Crossrail Place

Jose Pizarro opening Little Jose in Canary Wharf at Crossrail Place

What: Little Jose

In a nutshell: Jose Pizarro comes to Canary Wharf with a tiny tapas bar.

Summing it all up: With Jose, Pizarro and Jose already open, the Spanish chef is opening another place named after himself, serving up tapas at the Canary Wharf Street Feast.

The low-down

Looks like Jose Pizarro has an under-the-radar opening planned in East London. We hear that he's opening Little Jose over in Crossrail Place in Canary Wharf.

On the menu expect "new and wonderful dishes along with the brilliant classics you have come to know and love'. So that's:

  •  Ibérico pork meatball sub with manchego
  • Crispy fried squid ‘boca’ with aioli
  • Spicy Prawn Fritters with Lime Mayo
  • Plus Patatas Bravas, Padrón Peppers and a daily-changing Tortilla.

It's all part of the new Street Feast coming to Canary Wharf - and he's aiming to make it the place to go for lunch instead of grabbing a standard sarnie. And in the evening you'll also be able to grab some cava, wines, sherries and a gin & tonic too. And it'll be open seven days a week for your tapas needs.
