The Supermarket of Dreams brings restaurant DIY kits and more to Notting Hill

supermarket of dreams notting hill

Over in Notting Hill, there's been an addition to the food shop scene that's a lot more interesting than getting a new Tesco Metro.

The Supermarket of Dreams opened up last month. It's from the same team as the Notting Hill Fish Shop and it's selling all manner of lovely artisan food and - the real usp - meals and DIY kits from restaurants across London.

The launch line-up for those restaurant kits is impressive with items from a dream team of Kricket, Padella, Patty & Bun, Ottolenghi and, exclusively, Skye Gyngell's Spring. Shoppers can drop into the Holland Park Avenue Store, or order online for delivery and right now dishes include:

  • Padella's Pappardelle & Beef Shin Ragu
  • Kricket's Tandoori Cauliflower with Garlic and Tahini Yogurt.
  • Skyd Gyngell's Spring Slow Cooked Lamb with Prunes
  • Patty & Bun burger kits
  • Ottolenghi's Aubergine and Lamb Bake

There's also a range of chefs on board in the store itself making seafood dishes to takeaway including handmade sushi rolls, dressed lobster and you can buy Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Salmon in ready to slice blocks to make sashimi at home.
