Expect great brunches and a whole lot of babka as the boys behind N16's Israeli/Canadian cafe expand to the melting pot of Kingly Court

Children and dogs are equally welcome at Megan's new spot on Parson's Green Lane, a quaint little fairy-lit restaurant that'll be serving all day brunches, coffees and sourdough pizzas.

The Watch House is moving north of the river for its third elegantly designed cafe. There'll be breakfasts in the morning, lunches to go in the daytime, and post-5pm, a cocktail bar. Sounds good to us.

If you're wondering why Inigo's hand rolls are different, picture something shaped more like a sushi burrito and you wouldn't be far off. They'll also be using Japanese-style ingredients not oft seen in a traditional sushi, like wasabi peas, macadamia nuts and broccoli.

The team behind Foleys and the Rum Bar are heading to Old Street where they’re opening a pretty sizeable new restaurant, which will be serving Italian-via-LA cuisine from 7am to midnight all week long.

Just in time for the turn of the seasons comes The Dayrooms Cafe WC1, a new food and drink spot on Theobald's Row that’ll focus on providing the busy souls of the City with healthy, Antipodean-inspired options from coconut waffles, to mac and cheese jaffles.

After opening a Japanese restaurant in Soho, South Korean Charles Seo is now turning his hand to cuisine from his native land with a traditional Korean BBQ restaurant where you’ll get to cook your meat at your table.

Crosstown are squeezing in a third new opening this year, going back to its roots in Piccadilly to distribute its gloriously glazed sourdough doughnuts and cold brew coffee to its fans. Plus, they’ve launched three new flavours just for the occasion, and they sound *amazing*.

Hammersmith shopping complex Kings Mall gets a lot more exciting with the arrival of Feast Canteen, a serious new food court from the Pergola crew that’ll be hosting popular names from the London restaurant world, doing sit in, take out and yes, even Deliveroo.

After a successful Kickstarter, the much-loved Santo Remedio has returned with their new Cantina & Comedor, a two-storey bar and restaurant on Tooley Street, with a charcoal grill, a bigger kitchen and reservations available for lunch and dinner.
