The Cloth team are turning the historic Simpson's Tavern in the City into Cloth Cornhill

Back at the end of 2025, we reported that the restaurant that was once Simpson's Tavern (which had been going through a fight for survival) had been taken over. The team who are taking on the Grade II listed site is the one behind Cloth in Farrington (also in an 18th-century building). They planned to launch Cloth Cornhill.
