In what's rapidly becoming the new normal, Londoners, unable to go to bars or restaurants, are switching their social lives to London's parks along with picnics and booze. So you've got to hand it to Highbury's Top Cuvee who have not only spotted the trend but hopped on board.
The restaurant, which had already done a stellar job of moving to delivery with their Shop Cuvee offering, yesterday started delivering wine and cocktails by bike to two London parks and Hot Dinners was one of their first customers.
Availing of the service is pretty simple. All you do is head to the Good for the Park section of the Top Cuvee website. Buy one of the bottles (or bags of wine) or cans of cocktails and then all you have to do is select Park Delivery and they'll contact you to share your location in the park via WhatsApp. There's a good selection, so whether you're after a bottle of natural wine or a two-litre bag of Three Sheets' Negroni there should be something that appeals.
There are two parks currently being served - London Fields and Clissold Park - and they're aiming to get it to you within an hour of your order.

We placed our order and Top Cuvee owner Brodie was on his bike and with us in minutes with a few tinnies of East London Liquor company cocktails along with a chilled bottle of Chin Chin Vinho Verde with some wine glasses. All they've got to do is add some snackage to that offering and they'll be flying.
With the service already getting loads of enquiries, it's surely only a matter of time before they expand it to more parks. It 100% gets the thumbs-up from us.
