A Twin Peaks diner and a Wes Anderson bar are both popping up in London this summer

We love a well-themed pop up and this summer, London has two good ones to choose from.

To start with, there's the Wes Anderson-themed takeover of the bar at Bob Bob Ricard in Soho. The downstairs bar of the restaurant has been transformed into Marseille Bob's, after a key character in the Anderson's new movie, The Phoenician Scheme. You'll find props dotted throughout the space alluding to key moments in the film and there's a specific cocktail and bar food menu featuring drinks and dishes seen in the movie. Even the bar staff are kitted out with costumes to tie in with the theme.

We got a sneak preview of the bar on its opening day, and you can see exactly what it looks like over on our reel on Instagram.

Following that, North London is going to be getting a one-day-only Twin Peaks pop-up diner.

Stoke Newington's New River Diner is being turned into the iconic diner from David Lynch's television series. The idea is to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the cult classic Twin Peaks along with the show's arrival on streaming service MUBI.

The just-one-day Double R Diner will offer customers "a cup of joe and tuck into a damn fine slice of pie " with MamSham in charge of the menu. It'll be drop-in only, and there will be special Twin Peak goodies to be won over the course of the day.
