If you don't know about Outstanding in the Field, let us quickly fill you in. This 'roving restaurant without walls' spends the summers travelling across America setting up alfresco dinner tables in the most gorgeous settings - from farms to vineyards and beaches. Their aim is "to connect diners to the origins of their food while celebrating the hardworking hands that feed us".
Last year they came to the UK for only their second time, as part of the European leg of their tour, adding London for the first time. And now they're coming back with a dinner that definitely sounds worth booking.
The London date will be at Sitopia Farm, an urban farm near Woolwich. "We are thrilled to set the table in their beautiful urban gardens." say the OITF team, "surrounded by a bounty of spring and summer vegetables, young fruit trees, and a few grazing cows and sheep who live next door." Best news of all is that it'll be Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich from Honey & Co cooking the dinner for that feast.
There will be one more UK date - the team are returning to Lower Town Farm in Cornwall from where Matt Chatfield supplies most of London's top restaurants. That dinner will feature food by chef Ben Quinn from the Woodfired Canteen.
