New ham and sherry bar Capote y Toros to open in Kensington

As the weedy spring sunshine tries to dispel London's usual grey gloom, Hot Dinners' day was brightened still further by the news that tapas group Cambio de Tercio are going to be opening a ham and sherry bar, Capote Y Toros, on the Old Brompton Road.

Along with all things piggy, the bar will have a whopping list of 100 sherries on offer. We rather like the idea of the sherry tasting selection, comprising five sherries for £11.

Food-wise, you can expect anything from iberico pork charcuterie from Spain’s finest producer, Sanchez Romero Carvajal as well as Pringa, Atun de Almadraba, Sardinas Marinadas and Ajo Blanc to turn up on the menu.

Capote y Toros is due to open at some point in April at 157 Old Brompton Road, SW5.
