Hoi Polloi to open at Ace Hotel Shoreditch from the people behind Bistrotheque

Hoi Polloi to open at Ace Hotel Shoredich from the people behind BistrothequeWe've known for a while that the people behind Bistrotheque and Shrimpy's, Pablo Flack and David Waddington, were planning something for what could be Shoreditch's hottest new joint, the Ace Hotel. Now the first details are trickling through as Hoi Polloi is announced.

It'll be an all day restaurant and bar - billed as a modernist brasserie and accessed through the hotel's Hattie Fox's Flower Shop. It's being designed by Flack and Waddington along with Universal Design Studio, who were also behind One Leicester Street and many more high profile spots across town.

The same menu will be offered at the restaurant, which seats 100 and where you can book tables, and at the bar, which seats 50 but will be kept specifically for walk-ins only - so you'll always have a good chance of grabbing some grub there. The details of the menu are still being finalised - all we know is it has "a seasonal approach to English produce" -  but as soon as we have the info, we'll update this story.

Hoi Polloi opens at the Ace Hotel at 100 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JQ on October 3. Reservations are open now on 020 8880 6100. For more info, follow them on Twitter.
