Well, this is exciting. If you've been wondering who's taking over the site vacated by Rok on Curtain Road, then we have the answer. It's going to be a long term, six-month residency Emile - run by Damian Clisby ex Restaurant Director of Petersham Nurseries, and Nick Gibson, landlord of the Drapers Arms.

Dalston has a new burger bar, setting up shop in The Three Compasses. Filthy Buns, led by exec chef John Gladwell, will be settling down for a residency in the pub following their start on the street food scene.
Here's what's on offer:
- Cheesy House (£8) - The ‘house’ cheeseburger. 45-day, dry-aged beef patty, double cheese (red & swiss)
- Croquetas and cocktails from The Jellied Eel are back for good in Manzes, Walthamstow
They first took over Walthamstow's Manze's pie shop (in the evenings only) for a pop-up last year and returned a few times since. Now The Jellied Eel are back in the same location for a permanent residency featuring their combination of cocktails and croquetas.

Mortimer House, a member’s club and workspace in Fitzrovia, has already hosted guest chef residencies from Elizabeth Haig and Oli Brown of duck duck goose, and next up is Luke Selby, who you may recognise from Great British Menu. As well as starring on the BBC series, Luke was previously head chef at Ollie Dabbous’ Hide, which he left earlier this year to pursue his own projects.
