We take this new French bistro in Parson's Green for a Test Drive.
We were fans of YBF Chef of the Year Adam Rawson long before he cooked at our Elements party in Spring. So news that he'd teamed up with Rhône Wines to do a London pop-up made us sit up and pay attention.
The Rhône Touch is going to be an exhibition/wine bar/restaurant open for 10 days this summer in King's Cross. And whether you're looking to experience wine from an artistic point of view at the free
There's a rather beautiful new wine bar opening in Dalston next week by the name of Acqua7. The brainchild of Dalston native Cyrus Cookson, it's all white walls and oak counter and will be open all day serving up coffee in the morning and larger dishes and wine by night.
In the morning you'll get pastries with coffee served in traditional Moka pots. There'll also be smoothies like MoonRock - Cantaloupe, rose water and ice and smashed avo on toast with bacon
Legs is the new Hackney restaurant from Magnus Reid - a small plates restaurant with a big focus on wine. We take it for a Test Drive.
A Hot Dinners exclusive
Earlier this year, we popped along to check out chef William Gleave's cooking at P Franco, having heard some seriously great buzz about him on the London food grapevine. Now Gleave has moved on and the teeny kitchen he occupied at the back of this Clapton wine bar has a similarly illustrious chef on
It's all happening over on Hackney's Morning Lane. First came the new wine-focused restaurant Legs, then the new Nike store opened and now there's Farley Macallan. It's a new wine bar and restaurant run by Luke Ramsden whose CV includes time spent at the Arts Club and Home House and it's setting out to reinvent the local.
The 100 seat spot on the
What better time than during London Wine Week to launch a hot new wine bar? You've got to hand it to the Andaz London Liverpool Street - their timing is impeccable.
This week the City hotel launches its 1901 Wine Lounge which focuses on a more adventurous selection of wine, with much available by the glass. The list will feature over 160 wines in total
So this sounds like a bit of a fabulous bargain: Bonhams’ restaurant is now open for dinner on Friday and, if you're quick, you could get a free wine flight to go with your dinner.
The Michelin-starred restaurant run by Head Chef Tom Kemble will be serving dinner three evenings a week in addition to lunch from today. And, if you head there for dinner on any Friday in May you'll find the £60 five-course set menu complemented by a flight of wines selected by sommelier,
We've had wine and cheese, but how about wine and say cheese? Sorry. That's our rather clumsy way of introducing the concept of a new underground photographic wine bar that's just opened up in East London.
Stop Fix has taken over an underground carpark and is billed as a contemporary wine bar championing new and exciting winemakers from around the world. And they're showcasing that wine alongside rare photography books and
A new bar has opened on Camden High Street and the clue to what it's serving is in the name - Trufflesecco. Yep, that's right it's a Prosecco and truffles bar.
We don't know much more than that - but dishes on the menu include crostino with truffle sauce and gnocco fritto with mozzarella and mortadella.
And, if you're after something to take away, they feature a selection of truffle goods, pasta and wines to buy.
It's been two whole days since our last burger and wine story so let's rectify that right now. The next patty action you're going to want in on is the Honest Burgers Malbec World Day special.
The £12.50 burger features a Ginger Pig beef patty, some manchego cheese and griddled Brindisa chorizo, followed by chimichurri, some chipotle
We love burgers. And we love wine. So the idea of Big Fernand and The Remedy collaborating for a Natural wine and Hamburgé Salon sounds just peachy to us. This one night event will see The Remedy heading over to Big Fernand on Percy Street where they'll be hosting a mini wine bar pairing natural and biodynamic wines by the glass for a fiver with Big Fernand’s burgers.
So there'll be La Garnacha Olivdada de Aragon – an old vine garnacha from Asturias, Northern Spain
Bag-in-box wine taproom BIB is coming back to East London for a six month residency, following its popular pop up in November. And this time they're teaming up with chef Harry Kaufman, adding some small plates to the menu.
Founder Kirsty Tinkler has sourced a range of natural wines available by the glass and carafe. "BIB is about young fresh drinking wines," says Kirsty,
You may have been reading about White Lyan's revolutionary new 'wine' offering - the revolution being that they don't actually grapes to make it. Instead the team have been creating drinks based on taking the "flavour profile" of wine and deconstructing it, and then rebuilding it.
Now they're planning a five day pop up "wine bar". Lyan Cellars will run run for five days next week at Lantana Cafe in Shoreditch. And they've brought in Doug McMaster of Brighton
London is in the grip of a wine bar revolution. And there's a huge new one on the way. Humble Grape opened its first wine bar and shop in Battersea last year and now they're planning a second one - this time on Fleet Street.
They'll be taking over a huge space on St Bride’s Passage, just off Fleet Street which, fittingly, used to be The Press House Wine Bar, once a famous drinking den for journalists. It all sounds very convivial, being tucked away in the
