  Shoreditch’s latest trendy restaurant is the lovechild of two chefs who’ve want to experiment with their love of Asian food and “unusual cocktails.” There’ll be loads of pickled goods and flavours, and plenty on offer to those on restricted diets.

• Brixton’s Canova Hall: hotdesks by day, cocktails by night, and pizza around the clock

  Brixton’s Canova Hall will be open from very early in the morning until 1am, all week long, but what goes on inside will change as the hours pass, from coffee and wifi in the early hours, to Italian food, and finally gin cocktails and DJs at night.

  Soho, get ready - Flavour Bastard (no, really) is coming and it’s got a menu full of packed with big ideas and intriguing combinations of international flavours, like white lentil and chorizo donuts, which all seems to suggest that its bite *could* match its bark.

  Battersea favourite Powder Keg Diplomacy is being reborn as POWDERKEG. And with the new look and name they're also getting former Opera Tavern chef Ben Mulock in the kitchen for some Spanish/Italian grill dishes.

• Marco-Pierre White launching Mr White’s English Chophouse in Whitechapel

  Whitechapel is set to get a trendy new hotel by the name of the New Road Hotel, that’s going to have a flash new restaurant built in which will have chef/entrepreneur/TV star Marco-Pierre White looking after the food. 

• La Fromagerie is bringing cheese to Bloomsbury with their latest spot

  Head upstairs for oysters at the seafood bar, downstairs for the Tasting Room, or pick up some delicacies from the special ‘walk-in cheese room’ to take home with you at La Fromagerie Bloomsbury.

• Brick & Liquor mixes cocktails and sharing plates in Clapham

  After getting off to a great start down in Tooting, Brick and Liquor has made the move to Clapham to open their next branch of his cocktail bar. It's larger, with seats for 100, has a decently sized menu for bar snacks, and serves brunch (including a full English with savoury pancakes) on the weekend.

  The Barcelona beach restaurant Mamarosa migrates to the new Shoreditch Village space. Expect a mix of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine (but no beach views). 

• Caravan comes to the City with its Bloomberg Arcade restaurant

  This is the latest Caravan to come to London. Part of Bloomberg Arcade, it's bringing new dishes and a brand new brunch menu along with it. 

• Cubé Restaurant and Kakurega Bar opens on Blenheim Street in Mayfair

  The new spot serves sushi upstairs and has a downstairs hideaway bar serving Japanese cocktails

• The Lampery at Tower Bridge is inspired by London’s history

  History buffs can celebrate the days gone by with the British-themed food and drink at The Lampery, a new restaurant that draws inspiration from Samuel Pepys’ favourite foods, who was a former resident on the same street.

• Time travel to the 1920’s at the Evans & Peel Pharmacy’s secret bar in W4

  Evans & Peel are building off their Earl’s Court venue to create the Pharmacy, a new bar in Chiswick where visitors will be led through a secret entrance way into the hidden bar. There’ll be passwords, classic American grub and of course, Old Fashioneds.
