• Shake Shack brings back Shacktoberfest for 2016

  

  It's nearly October and that means that all manner of Oktoberfest events are upon us. And one that's returning is the annual Shacktoberfest which sees a shake-up of the usual Shake Shack menu.

• The Filipino Burger is coming to Hawksmoor

  

  So this is the new burger heading towards Hawksmoor. 

  Called the Filipino Burger, it comes from Richard Turner who's been off looking for inspiration in the Philipines. It's a grilled pork pattie, topped with his take on traditional pork Adobo and Buffalo Mozzarella, in a brioche bun with onions, little gem, mayonnaise and banana ketchup. • Burgerfi comes to London, starting with burgers for Wembley

  

  More burger news as another US burger chain is making its way across the Atlantic. They're planning to launch a few outlets, but Burgerfi starting somewhat outside the centre in Wembley Shopping Centre. And they've teamed up with sustainability chef Arthur Potts Dawson too. So expect local Aberdeen Angus British beef and a big focus on recycling too.
