As the new openings at Victoria's Nova come towards us in a wave, we've more news about another. This time, it's from the same people behind Riding House Cafe, who are opening the similarly monikered Rail House Cafe.
This new place is considerably larger that Riding House or Village East (which is also run by the same company).

Summing it all up: Shoreditch's newest Japanese restaurant has plenty of familiar favourites, from sushi to tempura, and includes some more exotic items, like baby octopus and sparkling sake.
What: LASSCO Bar and Dining
In a nutshell: Seasonal cuisine and cocktails on Maltby Street from the duo behind the Coal Vaults.
Summing it all up: Prix fixe ingredient-led dining among the salvaged architecture of Ropewalk warehouse, and a bar with cocktails that’ll complement the food and school you in local history at the same time.

So this is actually happening. If you've lived in London as long as we have, there have been SO many ambitious plans put forward for Battersea Power Station that haven't made it off the drawing board.
But now the regeneration of one of the city's most iconic landmarks is properly underway and we've just got word on what's being planned, food and drink wise, in the first stage of the development. Circus West Village

She's currently best known as a MasterChef Professionals judge and before that, Monica Galetti was the senior sous chef at Le Gavroche, where she'd been for 2 years. Next up is her own restaurant called Mere in Fitzrovia.
Here's what we know:
The huge Nova complex in Victoria is entering its final stages now, and it's clearly bringing a HUGE change to the area (and we say this from experience, having worked there in the past). And the latest to open the doors will be the next burger outlet from Shake Shack.
You can expect the usual burgers, shakes, dogs and concretes from the latest Shack, and they're alos teaming up with Mast Brothers
...What: Tom Simmons, Tower Bridge
In a nutshell: Welsh heritage cuisine with French and English influences
Summing it all up: One Tower Bridge will be the home of this new restaurant from Tom Simmons, who reached the quarter-finals in MasterChef The Professional, and who'll be dishing up Welsh-influenced cuisine from breakfast to dinner.
