  We do quite love Le Bun burgers so it's very good indeed to hear about their return to London. While it was possible to eat Le Bun burgers at the sadly departed Carte Blanche in London Fields, this will be a proper return for the French/American-inspired burgers by Andy Taylor.

  Normally you'd expect to find start-ups using street food as a way to test their food. But a new restaurant hitting London's street food scene already has that expertise in spades. Pied a Terre opened 28 years ago, but now the Michelin-starred restaurant's chef Asimakis Chaniotis and Pied à Terre Founder, David Moore are taking to the streets.

• Million Pound Menu winner Tiger Bites gets a residency in Shoreditch and a Deliveroo Kitchen slot

  

  Last night saw a new episode of Fred Sirieix's BBC show Million Pound Menu and London-based duo Scott & Lacey's Tiger Bites - serving up Asian fusion street food - came out top. And for their efforts, they won a slot at one of Deliveroo's kitchens. Which means that now, if you happen to live or work in East London, you can get their food delivered right to your door.

  Parisian restaurant folk Big Mamma Group picked Shoreditch for their first London restaurant opening. We went to see how their upbeat Italian trattoria fits into the London restaurant scene.
