Inside the Pan Pacific London hotel in the city, you'll find Straits Kitchen, which recently got awarded a prestigious Two Rosettes from the AA. The restaurant is bringing vibrant flavours of Southeast Asia to the heart of the City, combining fresh seasonal produce and Western techniques and a strong focus on sustainability.
As Executive Head Chef Adam explains: "A sustainable kitchen is just as vital as a great kitchen. The two are inseparable. Sourcing locally enables our restaurant to serve fresher, more flavourful food, while supporting nearby growers and reducing environmental impact. Our new menu is a deepening connection between producer, chef, and diner."
Under Adam, the restaurant has just launched a new seasonal menu with dishes including two-day braised Hereford Beef Short Rib, and Cornish Crab Papardelle with caviar and laksa emulsion. The menu also features Suffolk pork skewers with an aromatic char siu glaze, and Native Scallop with soy and red curry crisp.
The five-course Experience Menu is £59 per person, with an optional wine pairing at £35.
