To mark the 20th anniversary of her flagship Fitzrovia restaurant KOBA, Linda Lee has introduced a new style of contemporary Korean barbecue which she calls “a taste of Seoul” - and you can be among the first to try it, with 25% off your total bill when dining from the evening a la carte menu.
Modern barbecue dishes, cooked-to-order, include Bosot Bulgogi - grilled soy marinated bulgogi beef & mixed mushrooms; and Saewoo Gui - king prawns with fermented shrimp sauce. All come served with mixed ssam - lettuce leaves for wrapping, soybean sauces and pickles.
Starters like Dakgangjeong - fried chicken with honey - are served with complimentary mixed banchan accompaniments, as is traditional in Korea. And as well as barbecue, the new menu features a selection of Jorim, traditional braised dishes for two to share.
To complement the new menu, KOBA has also undergone a complete refurbishment, giving the feel of a completely new restaurant.
KOBA is at 11 Rathbone Street, London W1T 1NA. Follow them on Instagram at @kobalondon
