Agrodolce, the celebrated, authentic Roman restaurant located near the famous Trevi Fountain, has opened its first London location on the idyllic Charlotte Street.
Owned by couple Antonio Russo and Uzbekistan-born Maria Soldatova, the original site is known for its dedication to traditional Italian cuisine and the London site offers a dining experience that mirrors this.
Highlights include the beloved family recipe for Bruschetta made with stracciatella, confit tomatoes and anchovies and traditional, Roman street food item Crocchette di Patate, a homemade croquette with mozzarella and black pepper.
Main highlights include Tonnarelli Alla Crema Di Zafferano Con Tartare Di Gambero, homemade tonnarelli with saffron cream and prawn tartare, Mezzemaniche Alla Carbonara, pasta with guanciale, pecorino cheese and egg and Bucatini All'Amatriciana made with guanciale and tomato sauce. To conclude the meal, guests can indulge in a Panna Cotta Con Fragole O Cioccolato, panna cotta with strawberry or chocolate topping.
