Monty's Deli has been a fixture of Maltby Street market for a while and now they've opening a permanent spot in Hoxton. Expect their own pastrami, salt beef, bagels and more.

London's steak and cocktail masters chose this as their first restaurant south of the river and - like all the others - it's rather beautiful, taking over an old warehouse. As ever be quick if you want a certain cut of steak - when they're gone, they're gone.

This is an Italian trattoria with a terrace and wine room on Almeida Street, bringing with it lots of traditional south Italian dishes, as well as more laid back meals like pizzas, charcuterie and cheeses. It comes from Francesco Mazzei, best known for Sartoria and L'Anima.

Perilla started life as a supperclub, moved into a pop-up and residency and from there has progressed to a full-blown restaurant. But what makes this stand out from the crowd are the people involved, chefs with a very impressive background indeed.
