Restaurant Reviews
27A Peckham High St, Peckham, London SE15 5EB
Follow your nose to JBs Soulfood as they cook their jerk chicken and pork on a drum barbecue out back. Expect a queue - it’s a Peckham institution - but rest assured it’ll be worth it. Their signature chicken, served with rice and peas and coleslaw, is a must but come back to work your way through the menu, especially the oxtail.
51 Greek Street, London W1D 4EH
The original Lina Stores deli was open for 75 years in Soho, giving them plenty of time to get things right before opening this, their first restaurant. Counter dining on the ground floor allows you to see all the action - and the pasta, as you'd expect, is great.
55 Broadwick Street, Broadwick Street, W1F 9QS
London is getting a new robata grill restaurant from the team at Zuma. Inko Nito on Soho's Broadwick Street will feature Japanese charcoal grilled cooking with a Korean influence.
62 Upper St, London N1 0NY
Chick n Sours comes from the team of Carl Clarke and David Wolanski, whose mission is to serve up some of the best fried chicken in London. And they're doing a pretty good job of it so far, with their wings, tenders and huge chicken burgers all some of the best in town. All that plus an excellent selection of sour cocktails.
