Popular Islington restaurant Le Mercury recently branched out, opening Le Mercury Deuxieme also on Upper Street. Now they're opening for lunch with a special opening offer.
For lunch they'll have eight salads for you to choose from - and then you can add a quiche, tart, posh pizza or other savoury items to that. The salads include roast butternut squash and honey glazed sweet potato, red chicory, blue cheese and toasted walnuts with French dressing and char-grilled cauliflower with capers. Prices start at £4.95 for a small (choice of three salads) and £5.95 for large (choice of four salads).
Best of all, they'll be putting on a free lunch this coming Thursday 28th February to launch the new lunch menu - they're expecting queues round the block, so make sure you turn up early! The opening day offer applies to food only and runs from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on the 28th only.
