Jun Tanaka's Street Kitchen reopens at Broadgate in June

Food trucks are huge news in the States, so we couldn't be more pleased to see that Street Kitchen, the trailer set up by Jun Tanaka and Mark Jankel for last year's London Restaurant Festival, will be returning to the streets of London. The trailer's new home will be on Broadgate's Finsbury Avenue Square from 27 June for two months. They'll be serving up food betweeb 11.30am and 2.30pm from Monday to Friday for the first two weeks, then Tuesday through Thursday until the end of September.

Tanaka and Jankel will be offering up 'good value lunches' for city folk with daily changing menus - prices for dishes will range from £4.50 to £7.50.

A quick look at the Street Kitchen Twitter feed suggests there'll be some great new dishes including trout with broad beans, bacon and salsa verde, crisp lamb shoulder with wet garlic, carrots and mint dressing; black bream with smoked aubergine and roast tomato vinaigrette and, for pudding, a cheeky cheesecake mousse with summer berry compote. There's also talk of special soft icecream from Riverford.

To find out what's on the menu every day, follow Street Kitchen on Twitter.
