B-Soho pizzeria to open on Poland Street

B-Soho pizzeria to open on Poland StreetSoho's really been having something of a restaurant renaissance of late, but not everyone's been able to make a go of it. Sadly, after opening in February this year, 52 North on Poland Street has shut its doors. However, a new restaurant has swept in and plans to open soon.

B-Soho will be a new pizzeria and cocktail bar, taking over the Poland Street location. It'll be a two level restaurant, both serving the same pizza menu from Neapolitan chef Raffaele Medaglia, who runs a successful Dubai-based pizzeria called Rosso Vivo. And there will be little waiting for these pizzas as they'll be cooked in a hand built Forno Tradizionale Napolitano brick oven for just 90 seconds at 900c, intended to leave the thin crust simultaneously crispy and chewy.

The downstairs restaurant will have communal tables, while the upstairs bar will sell signature cocktails including Neopolitans - grappa blended with gin, sweetened with limoncello, shaken up with fresh grapefruit and lemon and served in a coupette with a flamed grapefruit zest. There will be plenty of events too, with live music upstairs and a karaoke night in the downstairs restaurant once a week

B-Soho opens September 6 at Poland Street, London, W1F 6QG
