When the sun's out, outside on the rooftops of London is where we’d always rather be. This year we’re spoilt for choice, with options spanning all across the capital. Here's our pick of the best rooftops for drinking and dining this summer.

Ned’s Club Upstairs at The Ned

One of the biggest openings of 2017, The Ned has it all. On the 8th floor, The roof terrace at The Ned is almost double that of the Shoreditch House rooftop. Here you’ll find two bars - Poultry Dome Bar & Terrace and Princes Street Dome Bar & Terrace. It’s members-only, but in our opinion, worth it for the heated pool and sweeping views of St Paul's.

Where: City of London - 27 Poultry, London EC2R 8AJ

How high: 8th Floor

Runs till: Permanent

Drink this: Pick up a couple of Soho Negronis or, if you’re thinking about taking a dip, a House Press juice

Best of all, it’s open until 2am Thursday through Saturday.

How high: 39th Floor
