Simon Rogan, also behind L'Enclume and Roganic, has taken over the main restaurant at Claridge's and completely revamped it while offering the same food that is so hugely popular at L'Enclume.

NOPI
Soho, Fitzrovia, Covent Garden
21-22 Warwick Street, London W1B 5NE
Critic reviews - total score 7 out of 10

This was Yotam Ottolenghi's first full-blown London restaurant, following in the footsteps of his still-crazily popular delis. Expect plenty of sharing dishes - there's also two communal dining/chef's tables in the basement.

Andina
Shoreditch, Clerkenwell
1 Redchurch Street, London E2 7DJ
Critic reviews - total score 6.5 out of 10

Martin Morales is also behind Ceviche, although this restaurant takes a slightly different approach. It takes its influence from Peruvian ‘picanterias’, traditional family run restaurants serving local people from breakfast through to dinner.

gateis
North London
370 St John Street, London EC1V 4NN
Critic reviews - total score 7 out of 10

The Gate first started in London over 30 years ago, long before vegetarian and vegan menus became a big thing. They've been serving up quality vegetarian fare for years and have earned a big following as a result. As you'd expect, much of the food is plant-based and there's a strong vegan selection too (and their wine list is entirely vegan).

Vanilla Black
