10 years after they first started out on Brockley Market, Mother Flipper are now about to open a permanent burger bar in the area they call their "spiritual home".
They're known as serving up some of the very best burgers in London, so if you haven't yet had a chance to try them, a trip to the new place should definitely be on the cards. As for those, burgers, you can expect:
- Mother Flipper Cheeseburger - ketchup, mustard, lettuce, red onion, pickle, American cheese
- The Candy Bacon Flipper - ketchup, mustard, lettuce, red onion, pickle, American cheese, bacon fried in maple syrup
- The Filthy Frank - crispy chicken breast dipped in homemade buffalo hot sauce, whipped blue cheese, pickled celery
This does mean - for the moment - that they're going to pause their appearances in the market, so their last day there (for the time being) will be 11 November. But from 25 November, the new restaurant will have their much sought-after sausage, egg and cheese breakfast muffins so you can start Saturday the proper way.
