Thinking of going on a diet before the party season really kicks off? Then this really isn't going to help. Burger & Lobster are teaming up with Crosstown for a limited edition burger/doughnut crossover.
The new burger will have three patties because if you're having a burger in a doughnut, there's no point in any pretence of restraint. Alongside those burgers, there will be fried red onions, crispy smoked bacon and blue cheese, all served in Crosstown’s Tongan Vanilla Bean Glaze sourdough doughnut. We feel we might have gained a few pounds just by writing that out.
It'll all come with fries and ranch dressing for £20. It might sound mad, but if we're totally honest with ourselves, we're quite tempted to try it. The burger goes on sale on 25 October "for a limited time" at all the B&L locations in London (and delivery too). So if you're similarly tempted, you might want to get down there quick.
