Pizza Pilgrims do have the habit of putting on specials that look particularly tempting and this latest collaboration is no exception. They've teamed up with The Cheese Bar (the people behind the wonderful Pick & Cheese) and as you can imagine, a very cheesy pizza is the result.
It's La Fonduta, inspired by the Georgian dish, Khachapuri. The creation is a blend of five British and Italian cheeses (The Cheese Bar’s Cornish Gouda and Cotswold hard cheese, Kingham, and Pizza Pilgrims' Italian Mozzarella, Ricotta and Parmesan), all melted in the oven with a generous splash of white wine, and topped with prosciutto. It all comes at £12.
That does sound pretty fantastic to us - lashings of melted cheese is exactly what we need in this kind of weather.
