• Firebrand to open their second pizzeria in Clerkenwell, with all-day cafe Diggs next door

  Firebrand pizza has won a lot of fans in its original Marylebone site - and now they're opening a second pizzeria in Clerkenwell. But that's not all, as they're also opening Diggs, an all-day cafe next door. 

• Wing Shack Co is winging its way to Clerkenwell

  Wing Shack has grown quite the following in Loughton, so they're coming into town with a new chicken shop in Clerkenwell. Expect wings, fillets, burgers and more - as well as a pretty varied selection of sides that includes plantain and cajun squid. 

• Anna Hansen is leaving the Modern Pantry

  

  it's one of the best restaurants in Clerkenwell and serves a mean weekend brunch, but now Modern Pantry is losing the chef that's led it for ten years. Chef Anna Hansen, who also launched Providores with Peter Gordon (which is closing at the end of July) before opening the Modern Pantry, is moving on.
