EDITOR'S LETTER
There's a lot we could complain about living in London. The cost, the crowds, the lack of air-con on almost every form of public transport. But the one thing we have to give the city props for is variety. Today we're showcasing the spicy, inventive and at times downright transgressive flavours that are on offer at ice cream parlours across town. Why stick with vanilla when there's so much else out there to try?
And if you like finding new things to try, then we can also point you in the direction of our Pop Ups page which has all the latest residencies, supperclubs and more in one handy place.

AND DID YOU HEAR?
Having already had a song named after him, Yotam Ottolenghi got to hear Loyle Carner dedicate a live performance of Ottolenghi to him when he was in the crowd at Love Supreme last weekend.
And two Soho restaurants are celebrating a shout out from the legendary Londoner Bill Nighy. When asked what his perfect London day would be, the actor said it would include lunch at Bocca di Lupo and dinner at Vasco & Piero's Pavilion. Both excellent choices.
