Do you know what our idea of a great festival is? One where the food is brilliant and you get to go home and sleep in your own bed. So, yes, we're looking forward to the Eat & Drink Festival 2018 which is returning for the second year to Olympia London.
Running up to and over the Easter holiday weekend the show brings together street food vendors, artisan food producers, top food brands and mixologists. From late night dining on street food to coming home with bags bursting with artisan produce, there really is something for every London foodie.
On The Foodie Stage well-known chefs, food experts and TV chefs will be doing live cookery demonstrations. This year the line-up includes pâtissier Eric Lanlard, CEO of the Billingsgate Seafood School CJ Jackson, 2017 Celebrity MasterChef winner Angelica Bell, Mere's Monica Galetti and top London chef Theo Randall.
Head there on a Thursday when they'll be holding Late Night Thursdays featuring top street food vendors serving until 9pm alongside live music by up and coming street musicians and artists. On the roster this year you'll find amazing quesadillas from Killa Dilla, fried chicken sarnies from Butchies and loads of amazing seafood from everyone's favourite crab folk, Claw.
It's not all food - at The Drinks Station you'll find industry experts sharing tips and tricks on how to pair food with the right drinks. Here's where you can try creative cocktails crafted by the country's top mixologists and bartenders.
And when it comes time to head home, go via the Artisan Producers’ Markets where you can pick up juices, jams, locally-sourced cured meats, seafood, fruits and veg. And if you still have energy you can head next door to the Ideal Home Show - your Eat & Drink Festival tickets get you in for free.
