She's best known for the cakes and teas she serves up at Bea's of Bloomsbury, and more recently Bea Vo has been running a successful weekend diner at Maltby Street too. Now she's working on opening that diner Stax in a permanent location at Carnaby's Kingly Court.

Ham Yard Hotel opens out Soho with a new restaurant and bar

The Ham Yard hotel is the latest hotel coming from the Firmdale group. They're the people behind the Charlotte Street hotel and the Soho Hotel among others and this is their eighth boutique hotel - with a mix of traditional hotel rooms and apartments. If you're entertaining in the hotel, it has both a cinema AND a 50s style bowling alley.

And, of course, they'll be adding a new bar and restaurant, which could be a very handy destination, as it's just around the corner from Piccadilly Circus.…
