Get a drink by the pool at the top of the Shard and Shangri-La's Skypool

Another high rise drinking destination has just opened at the very top of the Shard, as the Shangri La has opened their new Skypool bar to the public. From 8.30 pm, you can now book a seat poolside (it seats 30) with drinks and snacks from the neighbouring Gong bar.  

The only catch is, you'll only be able to lounge beside the pool, not in the pool as that's reserved for guests earlier in the day…

Barrafina's private dining room is nearly ready

Meat and BBQ fest Meatopia coming back to London in September 2014

Ippudo ramen coming to London at Central St Giles

It really IS all about ramen at the moment as we've just received more details about another ramen joint to hit London. This time it's the very highly regarded Ippudo, who currently have over 100 restaurants across Japan, New York, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore, and are now making the jump to London.

Keu bring their banh mis to Soho

Part of the same group that runs Cay Tre and Viet Grill, Keu on Old Street has been a hit ever since it opened, selling some of the best banh mis in town (a Vietnamese baguette sandwich).
