Terroirs

Restaurant and wine bar in the Strand

In an area of town more usually associated with after-office binge drinkers and faux American burger joints, the arrival of a new, cheerful Bistro offering great comfort food to the weary masses can only be a good thing.

"The dishes, though well-cooked and using good ingredients, were clumsily constructed and often unforgivably imbalanced, making the eating of them more of a challenge than a pleasure." READ REVIEW

Great buzzy restaurant

Great bistro styled restaurant. Buzzy convivial atmosphere and good hearty food - choose from platters of charcuterie or small dishes to share. A perfectly cooked scallop - pork belly with black pudding - fabulous ham, all washed down by great, well priced wine. Definitely one to visit.

Terrific Terroirs

Terroirs is simply one of the best wine bars in London. The food is simple and rustic - great charcuterie from France and Italy and small plates to share: try the bone marrow and truffle or the smoked eel with crunchy remoulade. The wine list is long and amusingly annotated and encourages experimentation. It is a friendly, buzzy place and worth the detour!
