"Pearl Liang isn't faultless by any means, but at these prices you wouldn't expect it. Judging it on its dim sum alone, it's capable of giving Royal China a run for its money." READ REVIEW

"...well-made prawn cheung fun, scallop dumplings, siu mai, good char siu pao (but those little pork buns are always the same), exemplary paper-wrapped sesame prawn rolls, and brilliant soup-filled Shanghai dumplings. " READ REVIEW

"So, when you're next passing (just kidding) give the place a try. Or, if you're a real fan of Chinese cooking, you might even find it positively worth seeking out." READ REVIEW

"We need a few more Pearl Liangs in Britain, because they mostly do what they do well, which is to update our Chinese dining experience, without trying to emulate the fashionable heights and giddy bills of Hakkasan, Yauatcha or China Tang." READ REVIEW

"But I feel that we didn't really do justice to the menu: too much dithering and too many dumplings. There's a dizzying selection of fish that we overlooked. So I'm returning to the curious, hard-to-find Paddington Basin location." READ REVIEW

"There is an enticing and very reasonably priced... list of dim sum but they turn into a pumpkin, or anyway a taro dome with monk vegetables, at 5pm. But we managed to find two still available; zucchini prawn dumpling and Shanghai dumpling with pork. The finesse in their preparation will have me returning to Pearl Liang for lunch." READ REVIEW
