Andy Varma was behind the now-closed Vama in Chelsea and has returned to launch this Indian restaurant with an emphasis on sharing plates. The menu is specifically focusing on recipes originating from Lucknow and Hyderabad.

"Minor gripes aside, the cooking was top drawer. On a week night the place was busy with well-heeled locals and out-to-impress couples. You might have to pay a Maharajah's ransom for a meal here, but it rivals feasts served by upmarket West End competitors." READ REVIEW

Amazing experience

I went with my friends at Chakra last week and we had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was lovely and the best Indian food we have ever tried. We will return!!

Chakra - New Indian

I was told to go to Chakra in Notting Hill Gate the new restaurant which opened recently
the food is superb, and the lovely hostesses and service staff are most efficient and friendly

Try the lamb chops which literally break off the bone...

the yam chaat was also delicious street food
I cant remember the lamb dish.. but it was awesome... with mint paratha
